Privacy notice
This is a draft for BBHF's review, not a final legal privacy policy. BBHF should have its legal or privacy adviser review and approve it before the site is publicly launched.
What this prototype does
The current website is a static information site. It has no on-site account system, analytics, payment processor, newsletter subscription or information-submission form. Volunteer, donation and partnership links open an email application on the visitor's device.
Contact through email
People who choose to email BBHF may provide their name, email address or other details voluntarily. The foundation should determine lawful handling, retention and safeguarding rules before publicly accepting sensitive information or collecting volunteer records. Visitors should not include personal medical records or other sensitive information in their first message.
Links to other sites
Links to LinkedIn are external; those services apply their own privacy notices. This prototype does not itself embed third-party trackers or external fonts. The homepage displays stock photograph placeholders loaded from Pexels and Unsplash. Loading these images sends a request, including the visitor's IP address, to the image host. Image requests are configured not to send a referring page address. Replace external images with approved local photographs before public launch.
Before launch
Replace this draft with an approved policy specifying who controls the data, what is collected, the legal basis, recipients, retention periods, rights requests and contact details. Update it whenever forms, analytics or payment services are added.
